Bourbon Sweet Potatoes

Servings 6 people


  • 1 lb Fresh from the Start™ Sweet Potatoes
  • 1/2 stick Butter
  • 2 Tbsp. Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Bourbon


  • Peel and chop the potatoes
  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add potatoes and cook until soft (20-30 minutes)
  • Strain the potatoes
  • Mash or use mixer to blend potatoes
  • In a separate pan, cook bourbon, butter and brown sugar for 5 minutes. Then mix in with potatoes.
  • Finish with salt and pepper to taste
